01DecisionsBring one question. Leave with a recommendation someone stands behind.

Decisions · CFO Decision Review

One consequential decision. One independent recommendation.

Enter Germany or the Nordics first? Hire fifteen people or five and wait? Build, buy or partner? Take venture debt or extend runway another way? Bring the call that is actually on the table. We frame it, model the paths against your cash, name the assumptions the outcome turns on, and give you a recommendation you can defend to a board.

Best for: founder-led companies facing one high-stakes decision

Delivery: 1–2 weeks

Discuss this project
  • Decision framing & optionsWe sharpen the question and lay out the real paths
  • Scenario modelling of each pathThe numbers behind every option, side by side
  • Risk & downside analysisWhat breaks in each case, and how likely
  • A clear recommendationOur call, with the rationale — so you can act

Decisions · Pricing & Margin Architecture

Set the price — and know what the change is worth before you make it.

Raise prices fifteen per cent? Move from seats to usage? Where does Enterprise start? Do existing customers get grandfathered, and for how long? A model can show the arithmetic; it cannot choose the number and hold it in front of your sales team and your customers. We recommend the structure, quantify the margin and churn impact, and hand you the rollout plan.

Best for: SaaS, AI and marketplace companies considering a pricing change

Delivery: 2–3 weeks

Discuss this project
  • Customer & package profitabilityWhat each segment and current plan actually earns you
  • Gross-margin & churn sensitivityWhat a price move does to margin — and to retention
  • Proposed packages & recommended pricingThe structure and the numbers, including who gets grandfathered
  • Implementation strategyHow to roll it out without breaking the base

Decisions · Enterprise Deal Economics Review

Know what the contract earns before you sign it.

A large European or international account asks for a discount, ninety-day terms, implementation included, unlimited usage and a renewal cap. Sales wants it. After delivery cost, support burden, the discount and slow collection, the contract may earn almost nothing — or lose money. We rebuild the economics on your own numbers and give you a verdict: proceed, proceed with conditions, renegotiate or decline — with the parameters to hold at the table.

Best for: companies weighing a large or non-standard enterprise contract

Delivery: 1–2 weeks

Discuss this project
  • True deal economicsContract value net of delivery, support, success cost and discount
  • Cash & terms impactWhat payment terms and collections do to the real return
  • Proceed / renegotiate / decline verdictA clear call, not a range
  • Negotiation parametersThe floors and trades to hold at the table

Decisions · Cash & Runway Decisions

Decide what to fund, what to delay and what to stop.

Under twelve months of cash and the burn spreadsheet is not the problem — the decisions are. We work through payroll, contractors, cloud, software, marketing, supplier terms, collection and pricing, and hand you a sequenced plan: what to change now, what changes at 30 and 90 days, what to renegotiate, and — just as important — what not to touch. The judgment on where to cut without breaking the business is the product.

Best for: companies with under twelve months of runway needing to extend it

Delivery: 2–3 weeks

Discuss this project
  • Full spend & burn reviewPayroll, cloud, software, marketing, suppliers, founder compensation
  • Sequenced action planImmediate, 30-day and 90-day moves, in order
  • Cash levers beyond cutsCollection, customer prepayments, supplier terms, financing
  • What not to cutThe spend that protects the business — protected

Economics Reviews · Independent Payment Economics Review

ALL-IN

effective payment cost, reconstructed

See the full economics behind every payment method and provider.

Payment pricing is rarely visible in one number. Interchange, PSP markup, FX spreads, settlement costs, local payment methods such as SEPA direct debit, iDEAL, Bancontact, BLIK and Swish, and contract terms all affect the effective cost. We reconstruct what you actually pay, benchmark the economics and establish a defensible negotiation target — then we support the renegotiation.

Best for: marketplaces, platforms and e-commerce with meaningful payment volume

Delivery: 3–4 weeks

Discuss this project
  • Effective fee reconstructionWhat you actually pay, rebuilt from statements — interchange, markup and hidden line items separated
  • FX leakage analysisConversion spreads and settlement costs most merchants never see
  • PSP benchmarking & contract comparisonYour rate and terms vs. the market and vs. what you signed
  • Alternative-provider economicsWhat a switch, second PSP or local rails would really cost or save
  • Negotiation target & renegotiation supportA defensible number to hold to — and we support the renegotiation

Economics Reviews · AI Margin & Monetisation

The economic calls behind your AI infrastructure.

AI companies often have to solve cost of goods and monetisation at the same time — which makes margin visibility unusually difficult. A model tells you your cost per query. It will not tell you whether to move off a frontier API, at what point a heavy user turns unprofitable, or when self-hosting finally pays for itself. We make those calls with you, on your real inference economics — the cost side your pricing has to survive.

Best for: AI-native companies whose gross margin moves with usage

Delivery: 2–3 weeks

Discuss this project
  • True inference & cost-per-query economicsWhat it actually costs to serve one user, one call
  • Provider & hosting decisionFrontier API, open-source or self-hosted — the break-even, not the hype
  • Unprofitable-usage thresholdsWhere a customer’s usage turns loss-making — and what to do
  • Monetisation guardrailsUnlimited, credits or per-call — what your cost base can carry (paired with Pricing)
03TransformationsWe build the finance function — or get you through the event that tests it.

Transformations · Finance Scale-Up Sprint

Build the finance function the next stage of growth requires.

You still check the bank balance daily, approve every invoice, and run the forecast in a spreadsheet — but a full-time CFO is too early. This is a defined transformation, not a retainer: we install the monthly close, management P&L, cash forecast, metric ownership and board-quality reporting the company should already have, and coordinate with your accountant on anything that feeds statutory reporting.

Best for: companies whose finance operations have not kept pace with growth

Delivery: 4–6 weeks

Discuss this project
  • Monthly close & management P&LA close discipline and a P&L you can actually run the business on
  • Cash forecast & KPI ownershipA forecast that holds, with named owners for the numbers
  • Reporting calendar & board packBoard-quality reporting on a rhythm, not a scramble
  • Approvals, tech stack & founder dashboardAn approval matrix, the right tools, and one view for you

Transformations · Fundraising Readiness

Find what diligence will find, before an investor does.

European and international investors test the same things: whether revenue-recognition assumptions are clear, consistent with the company's applicable reporting framework and coordinated with your accountant — IFRS 15 or the applicable local GAAP; whether the metrics mean what you say they mean; whether the model ties out; and whether the runway logic survives the downside. We run that review first and prepare the model, metrics and data room so the raise does not derail operations. Starting before the round opens gives us time to fix gaps before investors see them.

Best for: companies opening a round in the next two to nine months

Delivery: 6–12 weeks

Discuss this project
  • Investor-ready financial modelBuilt from scratch or reviewed and fixed — investors can test and trust it
  • Structured data roomEvery document organised for investor diligence
  • Diligence Q&A supportWe help you answer the fund’s toughest analyst questions
  • Board & investor sessionsWe prep you for the room — and sit in on the hard ones

Anything outside a defined project is scoped and quoted before work starts, never after.
